Terms of Service

OrgoAnswers ("we", "us") provides a free public library of organic chemistry mechanism questions with expert-written model answers, and a Student Portal where subscribers can submit their own questions for a private expert answer. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe at the prices shown on the Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the My Account page; your access continues until the end of the paid period and no further payment is taken. Semester Pass plans run for a fixed period and do not renew.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of question submissions as described on the Pricing page. Unused submissions do not roll over.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for periods already started. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@orgoanswers.com.

You agree not to:

• share your account or your answers with others;
• copy, redistribute or republish library content without permission;
• scrape, bulk-download or attempt to bypass the access controls of the site;
• upload unlawful, offensive or third-party copyrighted material you have no right to share;
• interfere with the operation or security of the site.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

OrgoAnswers is a study aid. Our answers are written to help you understand mechanisms, not to be submitted as your own assessed work. You are responsible for following your institution's academic integrity policies.

You retain ownership of the questions and files you submit. By submitting them you grant us a licence to use them to provide your answer and, in anonymised form, to publish them in the library. We will never publish anything that identifies you.

The library, answers, artwork and site design are owned by OrgoAnswers. Everyone receives a personal, non-transferable licence to view the public library for private study. A paid plan additionally covers private question submissions during the access period.

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to make every answer accurate, but we do not warrant that the content is error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
