OrgoAnswers ("we", "us") operates orgoanswers.com, a free public library of organic chemistry mechanism questions with expert-written answers, plus a paid private question-submission service. You can contact us at support@orgoanswers.com.

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information provided by Google (such as your name and email).

Content you submit. Questions, images and documents you upload through the Student Portal, and the answers we provide to you.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe provides us with your subscription status, the last four digits of your card and its expiry date.

Usage data. Basic analytics about how the site is used, such as pages visited and approximate location, collected in aggregate form.

We use your information to:

• create and manage your account and subscription;
• answer the questions you submit and deliver them privately to you;
• process payments and manage billing through Stripe;
• send account emails such as verification, sign-in and password-reset messages;
• improve the library and the quality of our answers.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the site: Stripe for payments, Google if you choose Google sign-in, and our hosting and email providers. These providers process your data only to provide their service to us.

Questions and files you submit are private: they are visible only to you and to our expert administrators. If we publish a question and answer to the public library, it will not include your name or any information that identifies you.

We keep your account data while your account is active. You may ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@orgoanswers.com. Some billing records may be retained where required for tax and accounting purposes.

Depending on where you live (including the UK and EU), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the address above to exercise any of these rights.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls that restrict private content to its owner and our administrators. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page.
